The key to success is to use a colourless, transparent mass for this purpose, not a light pink or milky product.

To create such a style, start by extending your nails with the chosen product to the length that suits you – as long as they stick out even slightly beyond the fingertips. Then work on the nail plate and cuticles as usual before applying a gel nail polish.

Now take a decoration brush in your hand and outline the smile line, i.e. the place where the nail plate starts to stick out beyond the finger (while you’re at it, check out some interesting nail decorations). Use a gel nail polish in the colour that you want to paint the lower part of the nail. Once you’ve carefully separated these two parts, paint the lower part with the same gel nail polish, being careful not to go beyond the designated line and dirty the tip – it should remain clean and perfectly transparent. Apply as many layers of colour as you need, and finally cover the entire nail plate with a gel top coat. Voilà!
